Southwark Metal Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at our Caldwell, Idaho manufacturing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in safety, quality, productivity, and developing employees.
HVAC or sheet metal fabrication experience is strongly preferred. Experience with manufacturing, metal fabrication, ductwork, or related industries is a plus.
As Production Supervisor, you will work closely with the Management Team and oversee the daily production of high-quality sheet metal products, including operations involving coils, plasma machines, brakes, shears, and spiral machines.
What You'll Do
- Supervise, lead, and support the production team
- Train, orient, and manage employees in the safe and efficient operation of production equipment
- Schedule and assign employees to meet production and delivery requirements
- Direct the flow of orders from steel coils through the manufacturing process to finished product
- Monitor production levels and communicate progress, challenges, and needs to management
- Ensure employees follow company safety procedures and production standards
- Assist with equipment operation and fabrication when needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility
- Help identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency
- Support a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a dependable, organized, hands-on leader who can effectively manage people while keeping production moving safely and efficiently.
Required:
- Proven experience supervising or leading production operations
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to accurately complete paperwork and follow established processes
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively with employees at all levels
Preferred:
- HVAC industry experience
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Experience with sheet metal ductwork or fittings
- Experience operating or working around production equipment such as brakes, shears, plasma machines, coils, or spiral machines
- Experience in metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment
