POSITION SUMMARY: Southview Design is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator. The Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for performing administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Review weekly time records in project management software (Aspire) for completeness and accuracy. Send hours to corporate and temporary payroll teams timely for processing.
- Post job openings, schedule interviews, process background and drug screens, and assist with hiring process.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and onboarding materials for returning workers and new hires for hourly field staff.
- Aid in creating and/or updating job description with direction or assistance from Leader of Human Resources.
- Assist with guest worker program facilitation.
- Facilitate employee engagement and recognition activities. Handle employee relations for such things as births, bereavement, and recognitions.
- Acquire, distribute, trouble-shoot and coordinate changes with cell phones and tablets. Perform training on devices for required operating systems.
- Assist with maintenance of driver files through third-party vendor SaaS, ensuring necessary documentation remains current, accurate and up to date.
- Oversee the purchase, storage, distribution, and inventorying of company apparel.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities and tasks subject to change as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with a high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software (Workday preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, tact, and discretion
- Bilingual in both English and Spanish
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Formal post–high school education preferred
- Prior related office experience preferred
Physical Demands
- Primarily administrative role requiring extended periods of sitting
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Flexibility with schedule required; crews operate between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- May require early morning or late afternoon hours as needed
Work Environment
- Primarily based indoors in a temperature‑controlled office environment
- Occasional exposure to outdoor elements (e.g., pollen, chemicals, heat, or cold)
