Southview Country Club is a private, member-owned club with 100 years of history. The club was founded in 1919 with the purpose of bringing local businessmen closer together. This original idea still holds true today. Many of our members have joined Southview for the friendships and golf but they have remained members for the long-lasting memories and relationships they have created. The Club's Board of Directors, Club Management and Staff are dedicated to provide the best possible experiences to members and their guests in the utilization of amenities including quality golf, dining social and family activities.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Locker Room Attendant is responsible for providing a high level of customer service in the locker room to all Members and Guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES
- Become familiar with members’ names and greet them accordingly in a manner to provide a warm welcome that will make them feel at home.
- Consistently display a positive and helpful attitude. Treat members and their guests kindly, assisting with any requests to ensure their best experience and highest level of satisfaction, in a timely manner.
- Responsible for cleaning golf/street shoes upon request. Keeping the entire locker room facilities clean and always stocked, including restrooms, and showers.
- Assist housekeeping with items such as vacuum carpets, mop floors, empty all wastebaskets and garbage’s.
- Follow daily opening/closing procedures, complete daily checklists, and execute day-to-day operations relatively independently.
- Perform other duties as needed as requested by the Supervisor and Management.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma preferred
- Ability to quickly identify problems, analyze potential solutions and react to solve situations
- Effective communication skills, converse one on one in English
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (6-10 hours)
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 40 pounds
- Ability to multitask
- Friendly and outgoing personality
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
