Southtown Audio Video is looking for a highly organized, technology-curious team member to support our sales and project teams. This role combines office coordination with occasional field visits to gather project information, assist with proposals, and support project documentation.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with technology, communicates well with clients, and enjoys learning how systems and spaces work together.
This position is primarily office-based with occasional site visits (approximately 10–15% of the role).
Key Responsibilities
Field Surveys & Site Documentation
• Visit client locations to take measurements, photos, and gather information for AV system design
• Document room layouts, existing technology, and infrastructure
• Communicate professionally with client contacts during site visits
• Provide organized notes and documentation to the internal team
Sales & Proposal Support
• Assist with gathering information needed for proposals and system designs
• Help prepare quotes and documentation for client proposals
• Coordinate information between the sales, engineering, and installation teams
Project Documentation (D-Tools Support)
• Assist with project information and documentation inside D-Tools
• Help maintain accurate equipment lists and project records
• Support proposal updates and documentation changes
Administrative Coordination
• Help keep project information organized and up to date
• Assist with scheduling, documentation, and internal coordination
• Support general administrative and operational tasks
Skills & Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable learning and working with technology systems
• Strong written communication (email, Teams, documentation)
• Ability to gather clear and accurate information from site visits
• Comfortable interacting with clients and representing the company professionally
• Able to manage multiple tasks and take direction
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal vehicle for occasional local site visits
• Comfortable visiting client locations independently after training
• Strong computer and typing skills
Experience
AV experience is not required. We are open to training the right person who is organized, curious about technology, and eager to learn.
Schedule
- Full-time preferred, but part-time candidates may also be considered.
