The Area Manager is responsible for the daily oversight and operations of SouthStar clinics in the Eastern region of Louisiana.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acts as the liaison between the administrative team and assigned clinics.
- Implements initiatives and programs to ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
- Responsible for working with Practice Managers, clinic teams and providers to ensure effective clinical outcomes, excellent patient experience, and team member engagement
- Manages patient complaints, team member relations, escalating as required to administrative and support functions for assistance and effective resolution
- Supports the financial goals of the company by being fiscally responsible in all areas, including appropriate staffing and expense management.
- Identifies partnership prospects in local communities and collaborates with business development on driving initiatives and promoting service offerings
- Implements initiatives that effectively and efficiently support and meet clinic, regional, organizational, and regulatory goals and objectives through regular review of clinic performance, process improvement identification and implementation, and recommended technology enhancements
- Maintains strong understanding of operational metrics, mentors and leads Practice Managers in implementing plans to support clinics in achieving best practice performance for quality patient care and experience, as well as team member engagement
- Demonstrates working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite and other programs specific to the company
- Ability to travel up to 70% to oversee clinics within designated region
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Leadership Experience - 3 year required
- Nurse Management Experience - Preferred
- Healthcare Experience - Required
