Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and vacuuming to achieve a spotless finish
- Utilize automotive buffers and buffing tools to correct paint imperfections and enhance vehicle appearance
- Operate standard passenger cars, manual transmissions, and other vehicles safely within the auto detailing facility
- Apply vehicle paint correction techniques and perform automotive buffing to restore a like-new shine
- Conduct window tinting services as needed, ensuring quality application without streaks or bubbles
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and janitorial supplies to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment setup or moving vehicles safely around the facility
- Follow safe work practices at all times, adhering to safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and vehicle movement
Skills
- Proven experience with auto detailing, vehicle exterior washing, interior cleaning, and buffing techniques
- Knowledge of automotive paint correction methods and the use of automotive buffers and polishing tools
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars and manual transmissions confidently and safely
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, car wash procedures, and custodial practices within an auto detailing environment
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward clients during vehicle drop-off or pickup
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during cleaning tasks
- Experience with window tinting application is a plus but not required; training can be provided if necessary
- Understanding of safe work practices in an auto detailing facility setting, including proper use of chemicals and equipment
