OUR FOOD: We procure high quality meats and our sides and desserts are made in-house every day. The right candidate will be highly food-focused ensuring appropriate par levels, freshness, preparation methods and cook times.
OUR GROWTH: Southside Market & Barbeque, the Oldest Authentic Texas BBQ joint in Central Texas, is family owned, and is getting bigger! Currently we're in Elgin TX, Bastrop TX, Austin, TX, Hutto TX, and now Leander! We have a history of being the oldest BBQ joint in the state of Texas. We couldn't have done that without our valued team members and dedicated leadership teams. We want to keep making history. but we need to continue to add skilled and devoted managers that want to work for a company that has many growth opportunities,

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Food Handler Certificate required (or ability to obtain at hire).
Prior BBQ cooking experience preferred. OR professional cooking experience working with a variety of meat. Not fast food.
Comfortable working in a recipe driven cooking position.
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English for all job related circumstances.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
While performing the duties of this job, he/she is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. He/she is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. He/she must often lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
