Position Overview:
The Assistant Pre-K Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, developmentally appropriate, and stimulating learning environment for preschool-aged children. This role is essential in helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation
- Supporting children during learning centers, meals, rest time, and transitions
- Promoting positive behavior, social skills, and emotional development
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
- Following all licensing, health, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience working with young children (Pre-K preferred)
- CDA or associate's degree in early childhood or related (required)
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Strong communication and classroom support skills
- Ability to meet background check and health requirements
Salary : $32,000 - $35,000
