✨ About the Role
Southshore ABA is seeking a compassionate, eager-to-learn Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our small, hands-on team through a paid mentorship opportunity. This unique role is ideal for a newly certified or early-career BCBA who wants to grow in a meaningful, supported way—working with adults with developmental disabilities in group home and day program settings.
This position begins as part-time or full time direct care, with the potential to grow into a full-time leadership or partnership-track role based on performance and interest.
What You’ll Learn & Do
- Deliver direct behavior analytic services to adults in natural settings (group homes, day programs)
- Gain in-depth training in the Florida Medicaid Waiver system, including documentation, protocols, and compliance (a paperwork-heavy, but high-impact process)
- Learn how to manage adult-focused caseloads under the mentorship of a seasoned BCBA and ACE-Certified CEU provider
- Receive structured guidance on:
- Case conceptualization for adult consumers
- Behavior plan development and implementation
- Career advancement in behavior analysis
- Build toward long-term goals such as clinical leadership, case curation, or remaining in an advanced direct care role—your growth path is individualized to your ideal client population
Growth & Compensation
- Quarterly performance reviews with raise opportunities every 3 months
- Earn BACB CEUs from in-house trainings where applicable
- Pay range starting at 50-55/hour for BCBA, 28/hour for BCaBA- both with opportunity for raises on a quarterly basis
- Potential to advance into Associate BCBA or Associate Partner status upon demonstrated skill mastery
- Initial caseload is designed collaboratively to match your passions, comfort level, and scope
