Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Canonsburg, PA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions, provide therapeutic interventions, and develop personalized treatment plans. Collaboration with the care team to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and promote overall mental health and wellness will also be part of the role. This position requires dedication to providing compassionate, holistic care to patients in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Psychiatric Care
- Background as a Nurse Practitioner and experience in Mental Health Care
- Strong nursing skills with a focus on patient-centered, holistic approaches
- Excellent communication, clinical decision-making, and interpersonal skills
- Master’s or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree with a specialization in Psychiatry
- Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
- Experience with telehealth and in-person care delivery preferred
- Commitment to continuing education and adherence to evidence-based practices
