JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: AVP Commercial Credit Analyst
Reports To: SVP Commercial Credit Manager
Location: Grandview Main Office
FLSA: Exempt
Summary
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
· Underwrite complex commercial and industrial (C&I) and/or commercial real estate/acquisition & development construction (CRE/ADC) credit requests presented to the Credit Department. Includes analyzing applicant financial information, credit, and collateral evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loans and providing recommendations
· Examine, evaluate, and recommend risk rating and loan decision based on analysis
· Prepare Deal Concept Memos, Credit Offering Reports, and Term Sheets/Commitment Letters (with lender assistance)
· Notify Loan Operations when a loan has been decisioned
· Perform annual reviews on complex relationships as needed
· Assist with training the Credit team to underwrite, analyze, review, and monitor complex credit facilities
· Assure timely completion of underwriting packages
· Maintain and monitor borrowing base certificates on C&I lines of credit secured by accounts receivable and/or inventory
· Assist the Credit Portfolio Manager with stress testing of the bank’s commercial loan portfolio
· Work with lenders or borrowers to obtain current financial statements and borrowing base information from customers as needed
· Other duties may be assigned

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Three to five years of experience in credit analysis and loan underwriting in a financial institution or equivalent experience in loan review, auditing, or financial analysis required.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Microsoft office products including Word and Excel.
