Southlands Christian Schools is seeking two (2) dedicated and qualified Student Counselors to join our team. Student Counselors play an essential role in supporting our Extended Day Care program, assisting classroom teachers, and helping create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for students throughout the school day. Responsibilities include supervising students during lunch and elementary recess, providing support in the Extended Day Care program, and assisting teachers as needed to ensure the smooth operation of daily activities. This is a part-time position, with a schedule of 20–29 hours per week, Monday through Friday, generally from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though hours may vary based on the needs of the school.
Requirements / Qualifications
1. Current TB test or TB risk assessment (within 4 years) 2. Livescan Fingerprinting required 3. Current CA Mandated Reporter Certificate 4. First Aid/CPR Certificate
