Position Purpose:
The objective of this position is to provide quality sales support and assistance to our customers as well as the entire Southland Transportation Group Truck Sales team.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Update inventory, manage salesforce accounts, contacts, lead generation and mileage reports.
- Provide proposals and pre-sale requests from sales team.
- Track orders and delays, keeping in constant contact with vendors.
- Be the communication between sales, parts and service to support sales team.
- Manage and schedule deliveries of used and new trucks.
- Manage PDI schedule and techs in back giving them a schedule for PDI's.
- Request and process Replacement MCOs from International
- Communicate with accounting for charges added to company vehicles.
- Manage the online truck advertisements.
- Prepare truck delivery sheets and help delivery trucks.
- Handle phone requests from customers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of commercial trucking and International trucks is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the trucking industry is a plus.
