What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Sign Installer position at SouthLand Signs?
Responsibilities:
- Install and service all kinds of commercial and electrical signage
- Coordinate with project managers to review installation plans and requirements
- Implement the installation of various sign systems, including but not limited to Installations of Pole Signs, Wall Signs, Channel Letter Signs, Vinyl, and Window Graphics.
- Train apprentice installers on proper installation techniques and safety protocols
- Monitor the quality of work performed by the team and provide feedback for improvement
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the installation process
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- Welding Experience in stick welding (welding rods: 6010, 6011, 7018, and MIG welding, carbon steel, and aluminum)
- High school diploma or equivalent, current valid drivers license/CDL preferred but necessary)
- Proven experience as a lead installer
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques and procedures for various systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for installations
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and professional appearance and grooming
- Bilingual Required - English and Spanish

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
