Position Summary
Responsible for safely and efficiently dropping off/picking up materials from various vendors and construction sites.
Position Details
- Drives delivery trucks to job sites and company destinations. Properly secures and straps down materials for safe delivery.
- Loads, unloads, moves, stacks, stages, transports tools, supplies and equipment by hand or using dolly and/or forklift.
- Distributes received packages to designated office personnel as directed.
- Wash and clean department vehicles.
- Sweeps, cleans, hauls trash and maintains work area in clean and organized fashion.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years relevant experience, flatbed experience is preferable
- Valid Class A Driver’s license
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and equipment, such as forklift
- Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects and related tools and equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Customer-service orientation
- Attention to and respect for safety rules and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in the warehouse and at the construction site
