Concrete Paver Operator – Beaumont, TX

Southland Holdings is seeking highly motivated Concrete Paver Operators to join our construction team in Beaumont, TX. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a company with a strong legacy of delivering critical infrastructure projects across North America.

Responsibilities:

• Operate concrete paving and spreading equipment to distribute and level concrete according to project specifications
• Control machinery to ensure proper depth, width, and finish of concrete surfaces
• Work in coordination with other team members, including concrete finishers, to ensure quality and efficiency
• Follow safety procedures and identify potential hazards while operating equipment on construction sites
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  
  

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience operating concrete placing/spreading equipment or similar heavy machinery. Experience with Gomaco 2400, 2600, and 2800 preferred
• Background in heavy civil construction, particularly in concrete placement and finishing
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies
