Job Summary
This is a a immediate full-time position and pay is dependents on experience We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/DA or RDA or RDAEF to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their treatment.
- Being able to make temporary crowns.
- Taking alginate impressions
- Taking x-rays
- Pouring models
- Asssisting Doctors with various dental procedures from general dentistry to periodontics and dental implants.
- We have our own lab in premises and we have the latest technology in place
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality care is delivered consistently.
- Being a team player
Skills
- Proficient in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Experience with dental receptionist duties is a plus.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations.
