Position Summary:
The Curriculum Producer serves Southland by assisting the Children’s team in creating engaging teaching videos for kids.

The Curriculum Producer serves Southland by assisting the Children’s team in creating engaging teaching videos for kids.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Children’s Curriculum Team and the Creative Team to plan, organize and execute curriculum video shoots.
- Work with the video writer to understand the vision of each script.
- Create filming scripts with the shooting order, blocking details, etc.
- Plan and execute all set, costume and prop needs.
- Work with the Children’s team on casting.
- Fill out Creative Team Video Requests with the vision and details of each series.
- Communicate graphic needs for each video to the Graphic Designer.
- Maintain a database of video backgrounds, props, costumes, set pieces, etc.
- Direct actors and storytellers during the shoot.
- Work with the Creative Team on finalizing videos.
- Oversee the organization of the video studio and production assets.
- Write large group and video scripts and small groups lessons as needed.
- Lead or observe weekend Children’s environments at least twice a month.
- Assist with special event programming and other special projects as needed.
