The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring for a full-time Painter to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. If your talents range from skilfully carrying out routine maintenance tasks, including painting interior and exterior areas, and assisting the groundskeeping team with the upkeep of property, this could be the next step for you. You will play an important role in guest satisfaction and experience during their stay at Southland Casino.

What will you do?
- Prepare surfaces to be painted; remove old paint, wash, and fill holes with putty
- Paint surfaces throughout the property using a range of brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Apply various finishes, primers, or sealers to interior and exterior surfaces
- Maintain the working area is safe and clean in line with company regulations and policies
- When needed, assist the groundskeeping team with tasks
- Operate a motor vehicle when necessary
More about you
- Minimum 1 year painting experience for a commercial facility
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Operate a motor vehicle when necessary
- No high school diploma or GED required
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand, crouch, and climb a ladder
