POSITION: Full-time Paraeducator for Blind or Visually Impaired Student(s)
LOCATION: District
SALARY: $19.43 per hour
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
To provide academic and functional support to blind or visually impaired student(s) to ensure full access to educational programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate degree or a minimum of 60 college credits required. A passing score on the ParaPro assessment can be substituted for the degree/credit requirement.
2. Proficiency in Braille.
3. Basic computer skills required; proficiency with educational technology preferred.
4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with students and staff.
