Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. No Weekends!
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and efficient check-in process.
- Manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Carestream Softdent
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing with knowledge of Dental insurances
- Collect and review patient information, update electronic records
- Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and handle patient inquiries promptly.
- Maintain organized dental records, ensure compliance with HIPAA confidentiality policies, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with billing procedures, including collection processes and claims, while supporting overall office management tasks such as filing and data entry
- Support clinical staff by coordinating patient intake, appointment reminders, and follow-up care plans in accordance with clinic protocols.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental or medical office environment is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with electronic record
- Knowledge of billing procedures, insurance verification processes familiarity with information management standards including HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and communication tasks.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with clerical experience in a healthcare setting to deliver outstanding patient service while managing front desk operations efficiently.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
