Fire Alarm Service Technician – Southfire Systems (Tri-County Area)
Southfire Systems is hiring a dependable Fire Alarm Service Technician to support our commercial Life Safety division. Steady year-round work with a growing team that takes pride in professionalism and quality service.
What You’ll Do
- Service, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair commercial fire alarm systems
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Recommend solutions and work with the Service Manager
- Participate in an occasional after-hours on-call rotation
What You Need
- 2 years of fire protection or related low-voltage experience
- FASA/BASA certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience with Siemens, EST, Silent Knight, Gamewell, Simplex, Notifier, FCI, Fire-Lite or similar systems preferred
- Ability to run conduit and cable
- Strong troubleshooting skills and solid work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/scaffolding
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Where You’ll Work
- Commercial properties throughout Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties
