Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Sales Order Clerk - Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, providing exceptional customer service, and managing sales orders efficiently. Duties
- Receives requests by telephone, fax or mail for price quotations/verifications, purchase orders, and changes or cancellations directly from customers. Responds immediately to customer inquiries/information needs and provides positive, courteous service to customers; answers questions regarding product line, prices, delivery times, warranty periods, customer service and credit/financing arrangements.
- Send product literature, price catalogs, references, and other data to customers as required.
- Works with the Credit Department to establish new accounts; assists customers in preparing and processing credit/financing arrangements paperwork.
- Prepares returned goods paperwork, including original purchase order, copies of invoice and packing list and completes Returned Goods Authorization and forwards to Receiving and Accounting.
- Submit sales activity and forecast reports to Finance Director; provide briefings to Finance Director as necessary or as requested.
- Front office responsibilities for meet and greet walk-ins and directing phone calls
- Generates sales orders to be entered into production, monitors completion date, receives job costing, processes sales order invoice, submits sales order costing data to management for approval.
- Directs incoming shipments
- Backup for executive assistant
- Annual 5S review
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
