We’re hiring an Industrial Service Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced industrial service environment and enjoys coordinating complex installations, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting customers nationwide. If you have strong technical expertise and enjoy leading service initiatives while partnering with customers, technicians, and sales teams, this role is for you.
- Coordinate equipment installations and service calls for industrial and national accounts
- Schedule and coordinate activities between customers, sales teams, service technicians, and branch personnel
- Travel to branch and customer locations throughout the United States to install and support equipment
- Train end users, customers, and SouthernCarlson technicians on equipment operation and maintenance
- Assist sales teams with onboarding new national and industrial accounts
- Support and train SouthernCarlson Service Technicians to effectively manage industrial accounts
- Participate in technical training sessions and support large-scale service opportunities
- Coordinate and execute complex service projects from planning through completion
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
3–5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing packaging or warehouse equipment
3–5 years of experience servicing industrial or national accounts
3–5 years of experience working with pneumatic fastening tools
Strong understanding of electrical control systems and industrial mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and wiring diagrams
Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute high-level service installations and operations
Strong communication skills and professionalism when working with customers, vendors, sales representatives, and technicians
Ability to regularly lift and move equipment over 50 lbs
Ability to work in varying temperature environments
Ability to independently coordinate travel and lodging arrangements
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Experience with PLC and automation troubleshooting and repair
Leadership or management experience in a service-based operation
Working knowledge of the tool, fastening, packaging, or construction supply industry
Forklift certification preferred
Degree or technical certifications related to industrial service, maintenance, or automation a plus
