Job Description
We’re hiring an Industrial Service Technician who thrives in a fast-paced industrial service environment and enjoys coordinating complex installations, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting large-scale customer operations. If you have strong technical expertise and enjoy leading service initiatives while supporting customers and technicians nationwide, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
✔ Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
✔ 3–5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing packaging or warehouse equipment
✔ 3–5 years of experience servicing industrial or national accounts
✔ 3–5 years of experience with pneumatic fastening tools
✔ Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and industrial mechanical systems
✔ Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
✔ Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute high-level service installations and operations
✔ Strong communication and professionalism when working with customers, vendors, sales reps, and technicians
✔ Ability to regularly lift and move equipment over 50 lbs
✔ Ability to work in extreme temperature environments
✔ Ability to independently coordinate travel and lodging arrangements
Preferred Qualifications
✔ Bilingual skills a bonus
✔ Experience with PLC/automation troubleshooting and repair
✔ Leadership or management experience in a service-based operation
✔ Working knowledge of the tool and construction supply industry
✔ Forklift certification preferred
✔ Degree or technical certifications related to industrial service or maintenance a plus

Job Description
We’re hiring an Industrial Service Technician who thrives in a fast-paced industrial service environment and enjoys coordinating complex installations, troubleshooting equipment, and supporting large-scale customer operations. If you have strong technical expertise and enjoy leading service initiatives while supporting customers and technicians nationwide, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate all installs and service calls for QTEK vendor and customer accounts
- Schedule and coordinate communication between QTEK sales, production, technicians, customers, and SouthernCarlson teams
- Travel to branch locations throughout the United States to install equipment and support customer operations
- Train end users, SouthernCarlson technicians, and customers on equipment operation and service procedures
- Assist sales teams with onboarding national and industrial accounts
- Support and train SouthernCarlson Service Technicians to properly manage industrial accounts
- Participate in and support technical training sessions alongside Corporate Service Coordinators and vendor partners
- Assist in identifying and developing additional large-scale service opportunities
- Maintain professionalism and exceptional customer service during all interactions
