WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Ensure that key Distribution Center functions are completely in a timely manner in accordance with our company’s Standard Operating Procedures
- Assist the DC Manager with monitoring key performance indicators
- Look at our processes with an eye to recommend ways to streamline and create efficiencies
- Work closely with sales and operations on emergency or priority needs for customers
- Monitor the DC’s Cycle Count plans and work with Inventory Control to ensure that we are counting efficiently and staying on completion schedule for compliance
- Coordinate with the Receiving Team on Vendor Discrepancies and promptly report those Discrepancies to the Vendor to ensure that those are resolved in a timely manner
- Responsible for vetting and conversion of all Branch Transfer Requests to ship out of the DC
- Responsible for vetting of the Transfer Backorder Report and allocation of any outstanding backorders as product comes into stock
