We handle large and heavy sheets of glass and fabricate to customer’s needs. Any construction or manufacturing background is preferred! Job Description:
- Cutting stock sheets of glass
- Washing glass
- Tempering
- Seaming edges
- Installing spacers and/or grids
- Packing glue into insulated units
- Loading trucks for delivery
- Must be punctual.
- Able to communicate with team members and have a positive attitude.
- Perform simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Push, pull, carry, lift, or move up to 5075 pounds.
- Able to stand/walk 812 hours on concrete surfaces.
- Ability to conduct basic problem solving.
- Withstand exposure to extreme heat or extreme cold weather for both inside and outside job tasks.
- Use of personal protective equipment (safety sleeves, safety gloves, steel toes shoes, safety glasses and etc.) as required for the task at hand.
- Read basic drawings and layouts.
- Able to read a tape measure down to the 16th.
