Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Personnel to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics operations, including order fulfillment, receiving shipments, inventory management and control, and facility maintenance. This position requires a strong understanding of athletic events and food service procedures along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of logistics operations, including order picking and fulfillment.
- Utilize inventory logs to control and manage inventory levels.
- Assist with room set ups and organizational projects.
- The ability to optimize logistics processes and improve efficiency.
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the facilities.
- Stocking storage and service areas with product needed.
- Maintain weekly maintenance and cleaning at all relevant facilities.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely shipments are received as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and other logistics documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners to resolve any logistical issues.
- Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with athletics facilities and order fulfillment processes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using software applications to track inventory management and control for reporting.
- Experience with food service procedures and sanitation procedures is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move product around the facility is required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Any other tasks deemed necessary by the Logistics Coordinator or Operations Manager.
