Service Technician – Water Treatment Systems
Southern Water is a locally owned family business that has proudly served southeastern North Carolina for over 60 years. We're looking for a dependable, mechanically minded Service Technician to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Service and maintain residential and commercial water treatment equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Assist in installing filters, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, UV systems, and related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls
- Educate customers on proper operation and maintenance of their systems
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain an organized company vehicle
- Deliver exceptional customer service at every visit
What We're Looking For:
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team.
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Reliable, honest, and motivated to learn
Experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person with the right attitude.
