Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marine Contractor Specialist to join our team and lead critical aspects of marine-related project management, procurement, and contractor oversight. In this role, you will grow to lead the Marine Contractor Division of Company as we build our portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Must possess deep knowledge of environmental regulations and, in areas like Maryland, knowledgeable in working in tidal wetlands, requiring at least two years of experience.
- Experience includes specialized skills such as commercial diving, underwater welding, crane operation, pile driving, and structural marine carpentry is a plus.
- Familiar with how to select the right materials for harsh coastal conditions, such as specific pressure-treated wood, specialized concrete mixes, and properly sized stone for revetments.
- Experienced in working in high risks, high-wave, high-current environments and managing traffic at night, requiring strict safety protocols.
- Experience in working on, installing or replacing piers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a combination of the responsibilities documented in the Responsibilities section of this job description.
- Interest in leading Marine Contractor division of company.
- Knowledgeable in Maryland Tidal Wetland laws and regulation.
- Must be able to pass Maryland Marine Contractor exam.
Pay: $40.00 - $65.00 per hour
