Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling to ensure smooth workflow
- Support paving activities and other construction tasks according to project specifications
- Perform utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or drilling
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
- Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including fencing and signage
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks is advantageous
- Knowledge of utility locating techniques and tools is a plus
- Hands-on experience with paving or general construction tasks is beneficial
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
