Vice President IT Infrastructure & Operations

Summary

This position is responsible for leading the day to day infrastructure and operations function for the Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Sky Ute Casino Resort, and Southern Ute Growth Fund including: enterprise systems administration, secure operation of enterprise infrastructure, telecommunications, desktop services, enterprise application hosting and infrastructure support, wireless networks, email administration, local/wide/storage area networks, and hybrid cloud environments. Responsible for enterprise systems operations, and coordination of customer support across multiple business entities.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering or related field and fifteen years applicable and progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure and operations, IT service delivery, or IT operations leadership

OR

• Associate’s degree Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related field and seventeen years applicable and progressively responsible experience in IT infrastructure and operations, IT service delivery, or IT operations leadership is required.
• Must have ten years managing IT infrastructure and operations functions in a multi-entity or multi-business environment with distinct requirements including service desk, desktop support, network, server, cloud, telecommunications, vendor management, IT service delivery, including supervising, mentoring, and coaching team members.
• Must have experience with enterprise network design and industry best practices in a hybrid cloud environment including security, high availability and disaster recovery implementation.
• Must have experience managing on premises data center and cloud infrastructure in support of enterprise applications such as Oracle PeopleSoft, Workday, Azure, Microsoft 365, or equivalent enterprise business platforms
• Must have experience with budget preparation, compliance, operating and capital planning, asset lifecycle management, vendor cost management, financial reconciliation, and cost optimization.
• Must have experience with enterprise network infrastructure and industry best practices in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Must have experience with service desk operations, service desk best management practices, incident management, problem management, change management, knowledge management, service level management, operational metrics, and customer satisfaction measurement and improvement.
• Must have knowledge of enterprise application hosting and supporting enterprise database infrastructure.
