Position Summary
Supervises Construction Services Division Crew Leaders and Heavy Equipment Supervisor in construction services. This position is a grade E16; pay is $82,285.00/annually.
Education And Experience
Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must have 5 years of supervisory experience.
Must have 5 years of experience in the construction field, with experience in both home and residential construction, including knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and operation of heavy equipment.
Must have computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must be able to read, understand, and draw building plans.
Must have a general knowledge of various roof types to include sheeting, trusses, gutters, and panels.
Must have extensive knowledge in the use of equipment, power and hand tools, and other machinery used in home construction and repair.
Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule.
Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle Insurance policy.
Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in First Aid and CPR.
Working knowledge of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation and the location and ownership of houses within the exterior boundaries of the reservation is preferred.
Experience supervising construction crews.
