Position Summary
Administers the Adult Education Program, provides assistance to Tribal adults and other eligible Native Americans to improve educational levels and assists with the Distance Learning Program. This position is a grade E12; pay is $54,086.00/annually.
Education And Experience
Must have an AA/AS in Education or a related field and 2 years of work experience teaching all five disciplines.
Must have formal training or working experience with learning disabled students.
Must have experience in developing classroom curriculum and lesson plans.
Must have general knowledge of grant administration.
Must have advanced computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have or be able to obtain Pearson Vue Certification within 6 months of hire.
Must have a valid Driver’s License for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal vehicle insurance policy.
Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History, fingerprint check, and pre-employment drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching Adult Education.
BA in Education or a related field.
State Teaching license or Vocational Credential.
TERO Preference.
