This position will assist with the creation of academic and non-academic courses for the Center for Teaching Innovation. Responsibilities
Assisting ID staff and faculty with mapping curriculum as needed Creating high-quality, interactive content based on information provided by faculty and the instructional design team Assisting in creating accessible course materials Assisting with learning, implementing, and evaluating new applications and tools, primarily in Canvas Assisting office staff with varying projects and using a wide range of technology Creating promotional and/or supplemental materials Providing a student-centered mindset to problem solving Attend meetings with faculty or stakeholders for various projects Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Customer service experience desired Professionalism, including strong communication and problem-solving skills Self-motivation to work independently or as a member of a team Willingness to learn new technology skills such as HTML/CSS and other educational software Ability to easily switch between tasks and prioritize multiple projects Comfort and familiarity with Canvas, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite desired
