Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with skills in baking, cooking, and customer service.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and production, ensuring all items are prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Engage in baking activities, including cake decorating.
- Package finished products for sale or catering events, maintaining quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with guests when necessary.
- Utilize proper knife skills and culinary techniques to enhance food quality and presentation.
- Participate in inventory management, including stock rotation.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in food production, preparation, baking, and cooking techniques is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Attention to detail with a passion for culinary excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
