What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Technology Operations position at Southern Tire Mart LLC?
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot CCTV/VMS issues and ensure optimal camera performance.
Respond to tickets promptly and document work clearly.
Communicate with store managers to resolve security tech issues.
Collaborate with Security Low Voltage and IT Networking teams.
Provide on-call support for night monitoring teams after training.
Qualifications:
Comfortable troubleshooting Windows OS errors.
Basic system administration knowledge (Active Directory, RDC, Azure).
Basic networking knowledge (IP assignment, switches, firewalls).
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Willingness to learn and work with advanced video management and surveillance systems currently in use.
General understanding of Access Control systems.
Preferred Certifications (Not Required):
NICET, CompTIA Security , or BICSI
Manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Honeywell, Hikvision, Lenel, Bosch, etc.)
OSHA 10/30 or other relevant safety training
