**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Manager to oversee the running of the shipping/receiving department in an efficient, safe and orderly manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, inventory control, and process improvement within a distribution center environment.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
ABLE TO WORK 8 HOURS A DAY / 5 DAYS A WEEK and OVERTIME WHEN NEEDED.
DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION
GOOD ATTITUDE
MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO PICK UP AT LEAST 50LBS
MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE FORKLIFT TRAINING/TEST and SAFELY USE FORKLIFT

GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT
ORGANIZED
SHIPPING:
- Control Daily Production and Inventory
- Work from an Open Order Backlog and complete Daily Shipping Log
- Prepare products for shipment
- Check all labels and paperwork are correct.
- Attach all labels and include required documentation
- Load the UPS truck and any LTL trucking.
RECEIVING:
- Unload material from truck, check for any damages, compare to packing list
- Weigh up/count product when appropriate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
