Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable IT professional to support, maintain, and improve our information technology systems. The ideal candidate will provide day-to-day technical support, ensure systems run efficiently and securely, and assist with ongoing IT projects that support business operations. Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, cameras, and related IT equipment.
- Provide technical support to employees by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, email access, and other system resources.
- Monitor and maintain local networks, internet connections, camera systems, and shared technology resources.
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling for cameras and other devices, and assist with installation, positioning, and testing of field equipment.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, preventive maintenance, and on-site service calls as needed.
- Document support requests, installation work, solutions, and recurring technical issues.
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices, antivirus protection, and access control.
- Coordinate with outside vendors or service providers when advanced support or specialized installation work is needed.
Preferred Skills
- Strong technical support skills with the ability to problem-solve, diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in computer management including desktop support and hardware troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux; familiarity with their configuration and maintenance.
- Experience with computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPNs, firewalls, and network security protocols.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 - years' experience
- Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between locations.
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
