What are the responsibilities and job description for the HCV Navigator position at Southern Tier AIDS Program Inc?
Southern Tier AIDS Program, Inc. is seeking a HCV Navigator in our Norwich office. This position provides assistance to the Harm Reduction Coordinator in all areas of program operation including: conducting education sessions, offering appointment reminders, facilitating transportation access, accompanying clients to appointments, advocating with providers, and linking clients to additional necessary services in the community. Work to recruit clients eligible for HCV treatment, de-stigmatize treatment access, assist with client engagement and retention along the HCV treatment continuum, and provide support and adherence counseling to clients throughout defined care cascade benchmarks.
The starting salary for this position includes a per hour bump as this position is budgeted for less than three years.
Salary:
- $20/hour working 35-hours per week, may vary depending upon experience.
