What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media Marketing Specialist position at Southern Surgical Arts?
At Southern Surgical Arts, we are looking to fill a full time social media specialist position. We are looking for someone who is driven and motivated to produce fun and engaging content in a timely manor.
Our preferred candidate is going to have knowledge in social media and proven success in creating videos that receive high engagement. We have a large presence on social media, so creating high quality content is important.
This person needs to be able to edit in different styles, as we have different channels that have different aesthetics.
This is a full-time position and will require you to be in our office 5 days a week. Some evening work may be required as well as some travel on weekends.
The ideal candidate is a hard-working team player who will play a critical role in creating original digital content across various social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop social media strategy
- Create original content
- Provide data analysis and metric reporting for clients
- Edit videos using adobe creative cloud / splice / canva
- Engage with audience from around the world at various hours of the day
Qualifications
- Proficiency in many social media platforms
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelors Degree preferred
