We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused Milling Foreman to lead our milling crews and support our continued growth.
Position Overview
The Milling Foreman is responsible for supervising milling operations, ensuring equipment and crews perform efficiently and safely, and that all work meets project specifications. This role requires leadership skills, milling experience, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate milling crews on various projects
- Ensure milling work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Train and guide crew members on proper milling techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Plan and schedule workflow, materials, and equipment for efficient project completion
- Operate milling equipment as needed
- Maintain daily logs, crew schedules, and equipment reports
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, traffic control standards, and OSHA regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience as a Milling Foreman or lead milling operator
- Strong knowledge of pavement milling techniques and equipment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
- Safety-conscious, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Valid authorization to work
Pay: $27.44 - $33.04 per hour
