Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of lawn maintenance and landscaping technicians to complete daily tasks efficiently
- Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, planting, and pruning to ensure beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces
- Coordinate with clients and project managers to understand project scope and deliver exceptional results
- Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols and proper equipment usage during operations
- Assist with technical tasks such as irrigation system installation and repair, tree care, gardening, and horticulture practices
- Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues on-site, and provide guidance to team members for optimal performance
- Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies to ensure readiness for daily operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor service fields
- Supervising experience leading teams in lawn care or construction projects
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, horticulture principles, irrigation systems, and tree care practices
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Familiarity with gardening, plant health management, and general landscape construction is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; relevant certifications in horticulture or landscape maintenance are a plus
