Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Landscape Estimator and Sales Representative to manage client relationships, prepare estimates, follow up on sales opportunities, and maintain the sales pipeline.
This position serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers, being more than administrative support, it is a costumer-facing leadership role. You will often be the first and ongoing impression clients have with the company. Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and represents the company with professionalism, responsiveness, and integrity.
- Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, and text in a timely manner.
- Meet with prospective clients to gather project information, identify customer needs, and build trust.
- Develop accurate and well-documented estimates by evaluating project scope, anticipated production time, labor requirements, equipment needs, and material costs.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals for landscape maintenance and enhancement projects.
- Proactively follow up on estimates, proposals, and open opportunities to improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, estimates, sold work, customer communications, and project status.
- Manage and track all opportunities through the sales pipeline and ensure timely progression.
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts to improve customer retention and generate recurring revenue.
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments, site visits, and customer meetings.
- Work closely with production staff to ensure accurate project handoff and alignment between customer expectations and field execution.
- Assist in resolving customer concerns and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
- Generate reports and provide insight on sales performance, estimate volume, conversion rates, and pipeline activity.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to processes, systems, communication flow, and customer experience.
Qualifications
Required
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to build trust and represent the company professionally.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple customers, estimates, and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable meeting with customers in person, communicating by phone, and conducting site visits.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and general business software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated ability to learn technical services, pricing structures, and estimating processes.
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
- Ability to identify inefficiencies, make recommendations, and improve processes and customer experience.
Preferred
- Previous experience in landscaping, construction, home services, property services, or related industries.
- Experience in sales, estimating, account management, customer success, or consultative customer-facing roles.
- Experience using CRM, estimating, or job management software.
- Experience tracking opportunities, maintaining pipelines, and following up to close work.
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance, installation, drainage, irrigation, or outdoor services.

Schedule and Work Conditions
Full-time, Monday–Friday, Saturdays as needed.
This role follows a variable schedule influenced by weather, seasonal demand, and job scheduling needs. Because we operate in a field service environment, hours are not strictly fixed and may fluctuate throughout the year. Peak seasons may require additional hours, while slower periods or weather delays may reduce scheduled time.
Travel will be required for client meetings and site visits.
