JOB SUMMARY 

Help to perform general maintenance to keep all aspects of the Hotel at fully functionality and provide the best Guest experience 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS 

• Operational Responsibilities 

• Paint, repair, clean and perform filter replacements, belt inspections for the HVAC machines, keep logs and daily sign in inspections for boiler rooms, Laundry rooms, and ensure that pools have the appropriate dosage of chemicals for the pool and laundry rooms. Running monthly testing on emergency lights transfer switches and emergency exit signage, replace failed ballasts fixtures and interior=exterior lamps, verify alarm panels sprinkler systems and fire extinguishers to be properly filled. 

Guest Services 

• Repair leaks unclog pipes and toilets, Ensure that Alice tickets are closed in a timely manner and ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved 

• Team Support and Training 

• Work with all departments on guest related issues and internal hotel issues  

• Communication and Reporting 

• Report to Director of Engineering what happened on your shift, how many tasks completed. 

• Safety & Compliance 

• Manage chemicals safely, including cleaning agents pool chemicals and paints while ensuring the correct labeling. 

• Use correct PPE equipment when performing a job including eye wear, ear protection, safety gloves, safely work on crawl spaces and boiler rooms.

Working Environment 

• Interior: To include guest rooms, public areas, meeting space, storage closets; variety of surfaces/ textures.   

• Exterior: exposure to variety of elements based on weather conditions (heat/cold/rain/wind/ice)

• Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 
Hotel engineer experience preferred
