Front Desk Coordinator (9769)

Axis Spine and Pain, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a full-time Front Desk Coordinator, to join our growing and established practice in Macon, GA.

Our Front Office Coordinator is on the front line and the face of our practices. They are our ambassadors and are pivotal in initiating the best possible patient experience. They are responsible for overall front desk activities including management of the reception area and meeting areas, customer service, phones, mail, and office supplies. This position trains, supervises, and schedules administrative volunteers, coordinates front office coverage, and any additional administrative support necessary for the practice. Primary responsibilities for this role include: welcoming and checking in patients, answering incoming phone calls, checking patients out and scheduling follow-up appointments, training new staff members, scanning documents into patient charts, and providing additional administrative support as needed to ensure smooth daily operations within the practice.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone to patients, families, staff, vendors, and community members.

• Welcome and check in patients upon arrival.

• Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and accounts.

• Schedule new patient appointments and coordinate follow-up visits.

• Manage the front desk and reception area, ensuring effective communication by phone and mail to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma.
• Previous work in medical field preferred.
• EMR- eClinicalworks preferred.
