Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Property Manager with a background in both Homeowners Association (HOA) management and hospitality services. The ideal candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of residential and mixed-use properties, ensuring the highest standards of community management, resident satisfaction, and property performance. This role requires exceptional leadership, customer service, and organizational skills to balance HOA compliance with a hospitality-driven resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
Property & HOA Management
- Manage daily operations of properties, including maintenance, budgeting, and vendor oversight.
- Ensure compliance with HOA covenants, bylaws, and governing documents.
- Coordinate and attend HOA board meetings, prepare reports, and provide professional recommendations to board members.
- Oversee collection of dues, enforcement of rules/regulations, and resolution of homeowner concerns.
- Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and service providers to maintain quality standards.
Hospitality & Resident Relations
- Deliver a hospitality-driven experience by fostering a welcoming, service-oriented environment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, complaints, and requests with professionalism.
- Organize community events, amenities, and services to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to improve occupancy, retention, and overall resident experience.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Develop and manage annual budgets, including forecasting, expense control, and reserve fund planning.
- Prepare financial statements, variance reports, and board packets.
- Oversee billing, collections, and financial recordkeeping in compliance with HOA and company standards.
- Ensure all operational, legal, and safety regulations are met.
Leadership & Team Management
- Supervise on-site staff, including maintenance, concierge, and administrative teams.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance management to ensure operational excellence.
- Build a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Property Manager, with specific expertise in both HOA and hospitality management.
- Knowledge of the Guesty platform preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HOA regulations, property operations, and financial management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
- Ability to lead teams, manage vendors, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS), or related designation preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
