We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, surveillance, and conflict management, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to ensure comprehensive coverage of the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a visible presence to deter potential security breaches.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering CPR and first aid when necessary.
- Document incidents and prepare reports as required for management review.
Experience
- Previous experience in loss prevention or security roles is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Background in law enforcement or military service will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with conflict management techniques is beneficial.
- Experience with CCTV systems and surveillance operations is advantageous.
