Survey Division Leader PSM - Central Florida

Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and deliver survey projects across municipal, transportation, public works, and private development sectors.
  • Perform advanced survey calculations and data analysis to produce maps, plats, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and right-of-way documents.
  • Research deeds, land titles, records, and historical data to support boundary and property determination.
  • Oversee and review field notes, daily logs, deliverables, and QC documentation from field crews and survey staff.
  • Prepare and review legal descriptions, survey reports, and technical exhibits.
  • Plan, schedule, and estimate project tasks; assist with proposals and client coordination.
  • Ensure all survey products meet QA/QC requirements before PSM review and final delivery.
  • Train, mentor, and guide survey analysts, CAD technicians, and junior team members.
  • Provide client-facing communication, resolve project issues, and deliver exceptional customer service.


Qualifications

  • 10 years of professional land surveying experience; strong knowledge of survey principles and practices.
  • PSM license in Florida, or the ability to obtain within 6 months (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience with FDOT, Public Works, and Site Development survey deliverables.
  • Proficiency with industry software such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, GeoPak, Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Center, or Pix4D.
  • Minimum 3 years of CAD experience and strong mapping/ drafting capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize shifting workloads, and respond to evolving project needs.
  • Proficient with field equipment, field operations, and standard survey procedures.
