What You’ll Do
As a Municipal Project Manager, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams and guide public-sector clients through complex civil infrastructure projects across the Gulf Coast region.
Project Leadership
- Manage planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects—roads, utilities, stormwater, and site improvements.
- Develop scopes, work plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead client meetings, present solutions, and establish long-term partnerships with cities, counties, and public agencies.
- Oversee permitting, entitlement coordination, bidding support, RFIs, and construction-phase oversight.
- Drive project quality, mitigate risk, ensure compliance, and maintain strong client satisfaction.
Team Management & Collaboration
- Lead engineers, designers, and technicians in producing high-quality design documents.
- Direct the preparation of layouts, grading, utilities, stormwater management, erosion control, and construction details.
- Mentor junior staff and guide early-career engineers in technical development and project exposure.
- Partner with Business Development on proposals, pursuits, and presentations as the Mobile office grows.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of municipal or site civil engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain in Alabama.
- Strong experience with roadway design, water/sewer utilities, grading, stormwater systems, and green infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, stormwater modeling, and Microsoft Office.
- Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate resources, and manage multiple moving parts.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills—you enjoy being client-facing.
